The Joseph Azzinaro Memorial Scholarship was created by Azz's family and friends to honor him as the beautiful human being he was, both inside and out. Joe was a dedicated and devoted husband, father, son, brother, and uncle. Joe was a true friend to everyone who was lucky enough to know him. Joe was a loyal patriot to our country and wholeheartedly supported our troops, which is the motivation behind "Camo Thursdays" where all are inspired to wear camo in Joe's name. Early on in his life, Joe was an exceptional football player and teammate with the Oak Valley Green Vikings and, thereafter, the Deptford Fighting Spartans. Joe loved his profession as a PCC Mechanic and was a proud member of the BAC Local 1Pa/De. Joe was an extremely hard worker and was well known for his determination, optimism, and resilience which inspired those around him. Joe's smile was infectious and his goal was to make everyone in his presence feel good! Joe's roots were founded in love which was evident in all that he did. Through the creation of this memorial scholarship, we honor our beloved Joseph Charles Azzinaro for his love of God, country, and fellow man!
